Do the pens come with songs by default? top
No, CompuFlash does not come with any songs by default; however we would entertain your
download request under our fee paying service. To take advantage of our download service,
send an email with required songs (title and artist) to music@compucalm.com , request will
be evaluated and cost provided within the hour.
Where can I download songs from?top
CompuFlash supports MP3 and WMA files and these can be downloaded from many websites
including www.mp3-freebie.com, www.imusicacess.com, www.napster.com, www.mp3realmusic.com,
www.mp3-all-free.com , www.freeaccessmp3.com, www.mp3.com.
How can I transfer songs onto my pen?top
Once you download songs onto your PC/Laptop (note the directory your song is being downloaded
to), insert your pen via the USB end into a USB port on the PC/Laptop, your Pen will automatically
be assigned a drive letter by the operating system (note that letter), now using windows explorer,
copy the downloaded song onto CompuFlash (drag and drop).
Can you download songs for me before shipping?top

cost provided within the hour.
How can I transfer songs from my Audio CDs to CompuFlash?top
You can rip audio CD’s by using programs such as Windows Media Player, Real Player or Exact Audio
Copy that can be obtained HERE Firstly, download the software via the link, then install.Once
installed, insert your audio cd into the computer, run the software, click on mp3 and it will
convert whatever track you want, it’s that simple.
How can I alter the sequence of play on CompuFlash?top
In order to alter the order of play, simply number your songs in the preferred order i.e.
number 10 would play in tenth position while number 4 would play in fourth.
Can I transfer my voice recordings to my laptop/PC?top
Yes, you can transfer your recordings to your PC/Laptop, connect CompuFlash via the USB port
and copy from the voice folder.
Can I email/publish my voice recordings?top
Yes you can email, publish or save your recordings for later use. A voice file can be emailed
as an attachment.
What are other common uses of CompuFlash?top
Other common uses apart from the obvious include;
a)Use as a Dictaphone- for information transfer, b)Use by students for recording lectures and
saving them for revision later, c) Use by College Tutors to record and publish lectures online,
d) Use by reporters/journalists to record and document interviews simultaneously.
Will the FM radio work in another country apart from the US?top
Yes, FM radio will work in any country that has FM transmission wiithin the supported band.
How long will my refill last before requiring a replacement?top
Refills will last according to use; typically a year is a good guess for a moderate user.

How do I recharge the pens battery? top
If you have a model with a rechargeable battery, then your pen can be recharged in three ways,
a)By plugging the USB end into the USB port on a PC/Laptop. b) By using the Travel Adapter.
c)By using the Car Charger
Typically a full charge can take up to 4 hours.
How long will my pen play before needing a rechargetop
In standby mode (i.e. when turned off), CompuFlash can hold power for up to three weeks.
It has a continuous play life span of 8 hours.
How many songs can a CompuFlash pen hold?top
The number of songs CompuFlash holds depends on the size of the pen (128MB, 256MB, 512MB,
1GB, 2GB, 4GB)and the size of each individual song that reside on the pen. For smaller size songs,
a 1GB pen will hold up to 400 songs while a 512MB pen will hold up to 200. However for larger
sized songs a good estimate would be half the figures quoted. It is important to note that
flexibility is what makes CompuFlash unique, if you want a fresh set of songs, all you have to
do is transfer the old songs to your PC/Laptop for storage and download new ones on to the pen.
Will CompuFlash pen work on older systems like Windows 95 and 98?top
Yes, CompuFlash pen comes with a special driver for older systems.
How many hours of digital(voice)recording can my CompuFlash pen hold?top
128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 4GB will hold 8, 16, 32, 75, 150, 300 hours respectively. The key
importance about using CompuFlash pen as a digital recorder is that your individual recordings
can be transferred to your PC/laptop for storage. Such recordings may be listened to from the
pen or on the PC/Laptop.
I am confused about the Pen sizes, what Pen size would be adequate for me?top
The most popular and best sellers are the 512MB and 1GB sized pens. We think the main reason
for this is because there is less chance of you ever running out of available space. You can
conveniently have over 80 songs, 80 average sized digital recordings and still have adequate
space left for data storage and transfer. Power users are better off with the 2 and 4 GB sizes.
The 128 and 256 MB pens are more popular with people who enjoy listening to their music, recordings
and are interested in little data storage.
